A Quick Challenge:
Try to make every line add up to 15,
Using every number from 1 to 9 once.
Solution
So how do you work it out?
8 and 7 must be on different lines (running vertically, horizontally and diagonally) since those two numbers alone add up to 15.
9 must not be on the same line as 8 and 7 for the same reason.
If you write the 8, 7 and 5 in the correct places then you can easily work everything else out.
Challenge Matthew:
Give Matthew any two digit number and he will instantly make a 4 by 4 magic square grid in under 15 seconds!
This is just one of the mind blowing effects Matthew performs.
Here's an example: Every row, column, both diagonals, the 4 corners, the 4 centre squares all add up to the number 34!
